The Yellow Wallpaper

The Yellow Wallpaper

New parents Charlie and John take a weekend away from their baby in a Victorian Inn, and find themselves trapped in the past. This project explores themes of gender roles through movement and text.

I’m collaborating with Bare Theater in a developmental performance and modern take on The Yellow Wallpaper. It’s based on the short story by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, adapted and created by Flora Bare and Jenni Lamb. Presented as part of an artistic residency at Links Hall in Chicago.
